Scored the winning run against Palm Bay East on a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning, breaking a 1-1 tie... 5-3 win over Aruba South came in eight innings. Was leading 2-1 with two outs in the bottom of the seventh when Aruba South tied the game on a bases-loaded walk. Scored three runs in the eighth while allowing one to get the 5-3 win. The pitching staff stranded 13 Aruba South runners on base... 11-0 win over Saipan came in five innings via the 10-run rule. Limited Saipan to only two hits in the win. Scored nine runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to break the game open after leading 2-0. Hitters were 8-for-20 with runners in scoring position... 6-3 win over Holmes County was in nine innings. Scored four runs in the top of the ninth to break a 2-2 tie in the 6-3 win... In the semifinal against Bangor East/West took a quick 3-0 lead in the first inning, as four of the first Manhattan Beach batters hit safely. The loss to a Maine District 3 team was only the second for a U.S. West team in nine games against the host. East View L.L., San Pedro, Calif., lost 7-3 to Bangor East/West in the 2002 series...
