Stole 10 bases in 8-4 win over Saipan, but committed five errors as well... 5-2 loss to Manhattan Beach came in eight innings. Down 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh inning, tied the game 2-2 on a two-out, bases-loaded walk before giving up three runs in the top of the eighth and answering with only one run in the bottom of the inning. Left 13 runners on base and hit only 3-for-16 with runners in scoring position... 17-1 win over Holmes County came in five innings via the 10-run rule. Pounded 17 hits in the win, with hitters going 13-for-18 with runners in scoring position. Batters were hit six times, with Milton Croes and Marvin Brown each being hit twice... In 3-2 semifinal win over South Vineland, the winning run scored in the top of the seventh inning on a hit batsman to lead off, a sacrifice bunt, and a single. Stole seven bases in the 3-2 victory. Had only four hits in the victory... Championship game appearance against Maine District 3’s Bangor East/West was the first time a Latin America team had played the host in a Bangor World Series. Scored three quick runs, on four hits, in the top of the first inning against. Had at least one runner on base in each inning. Leading 3-1 entering the top of the seventh, broke the game open with five runs on only two hits, one of them a Chadwick Tromp two-run home run to cap the scoring. Shawn Duinkerk threw only 78 pitches in the win, inducing 13 groundouts, getting one flyout, and striking out five while walking two... Aruba South stole 29 bases with only six runners thrown out in the series (.829 percentage)... Pitchers walked only 11 batters in 41 innings pitched, while striking out 47 – a 4.273 KW%...
