This was Saipan’s third appearance in a Bangor World Series. Both the 2004 and 2007 teams were 2-2...  11-0 loss to Manhattan Beach came in five innings via the 10-run rule. Saipan had only two hits in the game and committed four errors... 14-4 loss to Holmes County was also in five innings because of the 10-run rule... Was leading Palm Bay East 5-1 entering the bottom of the sixth inning when Palm Bay scored four runs to tie the game and scored the game winning run in the bottom of the seventh on an error, a walk, and two singles... Defensively, Saipan committed 14 errors in four games (.868 fielding percentage)... The team’s ERA was 9.23 with a WHIP of 2.95... Opponents batted .400...
