Lost 2-1 to Manhattan Beach on a single in the bottom of the seventh inning. Had only two hits in the 2-1 loss, but left eight runners on base while going 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position... 12-2 loss to Holmes County was in six innings via the 10-run rule... Was down only 4-3 to eventual World Series champion Aruba South until Aruba South scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning... Rallied from a 5-1 deficit to score four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning against Saipan, then won on a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the seventh for the 6-5 win. Left 10 runners on base in the 6-5 win and went 6-for-12 with runners in scoring position... This was the first time a U.S. Southeast team failed to win more than one game in a Bangor World Series, and only the second time the region’s champ failed to advance to the semifinals, as 2009’s Northwood L.L., Greenville, S.C., also failed to advance... Hit only .208 as a team in the series. Opponents hit .314... The Toronto Blue Jays drafted Matt Rose as a pitcher in the 24th round (745th overall) of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft, but Rose did not sign...
