Notes

11-0 loss to Auburn was in five innings... Rain out against Juvenil de Guatemala, which would have been played on artificial turf at the University of Maine’s Mahaney Diamond, was only the second rain out in 11 Bangor World Series, with the other coming in 2007 between Greater Niles Baseball L.L., Niles, Mich., and Rose Capital East American/National L.L., Tyler, Texas, on the last day of pool play. The game would have had no impact on the standings... Down 8-1 entering the top of the seventh against Western, scored four runs and got the potential tying run to the plate. It was the first meeting between a Maine District 3 team and a U.S. Central team in 11 Bangor World Series. Catchers allowed four passed balls in the loss... Mustered only two hits in 11-0 loss to Auburn... Hit .270 overall as a team, but .296 with two outs and .364 with runners in scoring position... Had three bunt singles, the most of any team... Batters struck out only 10 times, with only two of those looking at the third strike... Committed only one error in 79 total chances, for a fielding percentage of .987 – the best of any team... The pitching staff’s ERA was 7.82. Opponents batted .368...
