Down 9-1 after five innings to eventual series champ Hilo L.L., Hilo, Hawaii, outscored Hilo 6-1 in the last two innings, coming up short in the 10-7 loss... Was tied 5-5 with Northeast/Fraternal Northwest L.L., Midland, Mich., after six innings before giving up two runs in the top of the sixth in 7-5 loss... Held Aruba South L.L., San Nicolas, Aruba, to four hits in 6-2 loss... Came back from a 7-1 deficit to Tanauan L.L., Tanauan City, Philippines, after two innings to win 15-7, going 8-for-21 with runners in scoring position... Matt Meyer led the team at the plate, going 7-for-14 .500 with 5 runs batted in and eight runs scored. On the mound, Meyer had an ERA of 0.84 in 8 1/3 innings pitched in four appearances... The Toronto Blue Jays drafted Matt Rose as a pitcher in the 24th round (745th overall) of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft, but Rose did not sign...
