Notes

This marked the first time in a Bangor World Series that a team from New Jersey was not representing the U.S. East... 15-2 win over Notre-Dame-de-Grace L.L., Montreal, Quebec, Canada, was in six innings via the 10-run rule. Hitters were 7-for-15 with runners in scoring position in the win. Chris Bramble hit a grand slam in an eight-run sixth, the fourth grand slam in a Bangor World Series. Chris Crissinger and Brian Delaney tied the record for most stolen bases in a game by a player, with three each. The team as a whole stole 11 bases, breaking the previous record of 10, set on Aug. 15, 2010, by Aruba South L.L., San Nicolas, Aruba, against Saipan L.L., Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands... Bramble tied the record himself for most stolen bases in a game by a player with three steals against Brewer/Orrington L.L., Brewer... Led Rose Capital East L.L., Tyler, Texas, 6-0 after three innings in a rainy game that was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., but didn’t get under way until 12:16 p.m. Gave up four runs to Rose Capital East in the top of the fourth before a three-hour rain delay stopped play. Rose Capital East scored another four runs in the top of the seventh to complete the 8-6 comeback... After giving up eight third-inning runs against Friuli Venezia Giulia L.L., Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy, scored five runs in the bottom of the inning. Cut the three-run deficit to one run with two more runs in the fifth. Left the tying run on second base in 9-8 loss to Friuli Venezia Giulia.. The loss to Friuli Venezia Giulia was the first time a U.S. East team had lost to a Europe-Middle East-Africa champ in eight games... As a team, hit .338 and stole 27 bases...
