First team in a Bangor World Series to go undefeated... Three out of the team’s six wins were via the 10-run rule: 28-0 in five innings over Kennedy American, 12-1 in six innings over Waterloo, and 11-1 in five innings over York County...  The 11-1 win in five innings over York County was the first time in a Bangor World Series that an elimination game ended because of the 10-run rule... Other team records set against Kennedy American were most hits in a game (24), most runs in an inning (15), most doubles in a game (6), most triples in a game (4), and most total bases in a game (38). Galvis later played alongside 2004 World Series alumnus Domonic Brown (Dade City L.L., Dade City, Fla.) for the Reading Phillies, Philadelphia’s AA affiliate. He then joined Brown with the Phillies when he made his Major League debut on April 5, 2012. He recorded his first Major League hit on April 9, 2012, an RBI double off the Miami Marlins’ Anibal Sanchez. Hit his first Major League home run on April 13, 2013, off the New York Mets’ R.A. Dickey. Galvis was then suspended for 50 games toward the latter half of the 2012 season after testing positive for steroids... Leonardo Rojas was selected by the San Francisco Giants in the 14th round (478th overall pick) of the 2012 Major League Baseball amateur draft, then suspended for 50 games in the 2012 season after testing positive for steroids...
