Moderate, steady rain delays today’s action

U.S. Southwest and U.S. East to resume at 6:30 p.m.


An all-night rain that continued through mid-afternoon in Bangor today has caused the Rose Capital East vs. Easton/Home Run Baker game to be delayed. The game, which was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. but didn’t start until shortly after noon, is scheduled to resume at 6:30 p.m.


Easton/Home Run Baker, the U.S. East champ, is leading the U.S. Southwest champ 6-4 in the top of the fifth inning.


The Aruba South vs. Northeast/Fraternal Northwest game, originally scheduled for 1 p.m., will begin immediately after the current game finishes.


The Friuli Venezia Giulia vs. Notre-Dame-de-Grace game, originally scheduled for 5 p.m. today, will be played at 9 a.m. Thursday, with the other regularly scheduled games following as soon as possible. The Tanauan vs. Hilo game, originally scheduled for 8 p.m. today, will be played at 9 a.m. tomorrow, with the other regularly scheduled games following as soon as possible.
