Struck out 14 times as a team in 6-0 loss to eventual World Series champion West University L.L., West University Place, Texas, tying a record held by Chet Wagner L.L., South Bend, Indiana (2002), Martinez-Evans L.L., Martinez, Georgia (2013), and Aruba South L.L., San Nicolas, Aruba (2009)... Played against Edgewood L.L., Bristol, Connecticut, at the University of Maine’s Mahaney Diamond because of rain, the fourth Bangor World Series game to be played away from Mansfield Stadium. Three games were played at Mahaney Diamond on the final day of pool play in 2012...
