Notes

12-2 win over Clear Ridge came in six innings via the 10-run rule... Had to endure a 2 hour, 33-minute rain delay in the fifth inning before defeating Emilia 5-4. Emilia had the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh before a strikeout ended the game... Led Chitre 1-0 until Chitre scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth for the 2-1 win, which knocked Northside out of semifinal contention in the last pool play game of the series. Had Northside won 1-0, it would have been in a three-way tie for first place in Pool B, with Kennett Square and Chitre. Chitre would still have won first place because of its runs allowed per innings on defense ratio, and Kennett Square still would have captured second place by virtue of its opening day win over Northside... Sergio Macias was among the series leaders in batting average (.500, tied for first), hits (7, tied for fourth), doubles (2, tied for first), triples (2, first), total bases (13, first), slugging percentage (.929, first), on-base percentage (.500, tied for ninth), and on-base percentage + slugging percentage (1.429, first)... As a team, struck out only seven times...
