Notes

Four players returned from the 2008 ILLAM Central team that played in Bangor: Adriane Bernardo, Sebastian Martinez-Miranda, Mark Ong, and Andrew Tan... 11-3 win over Maine District 3’s Bangor East/West snapped Asia-Pacific’s five-game losing streak and avenged ILLAM Central’s 14-1, five-inning loss to Bangor East/West in 2008. ILLAM Central batters were 7-for-15 with runners in scoring position in the game... Was down 3-2 with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning against Northwood before rallying with two runs in the inning for the 4-3 win... Almost blew a 5-0 lead in the seventh against Cornwall, giving up four runs in the bottom of the seventh and leaving the bases loaded... This was the first time an Asia-Pacific team advanced to the semifinals in a Bangor World Series...
